CLP Certification Process

To learn more about the Clean Label Project Certification Process, please watch the short video below.

The following application materials must be completed to begin the CLP Certification process:

  • CLPC Certification Agreement: This serves as the main contract and non-disclosure agreement between you and Clean Label Project Certification LLC, detailing the terms governing the certification program.
  • CLPC Application: This is where you’ll provide the contact information for your company, the products that will be submitted for certification consideration and the certification program(s) that you’re interested in pursuing.
  • Proof of Food Safety Form: This outlines the required Food Safety documents, and information, that we need for each of your manufacturing facilities (cGMP, SQF Certificate, etc.).
  • Ingredient Risk Assessment Workbook: This document asks you to break down the products’ formulations and provide the level of risk that you associate with each ingredient when it comes to testing for the contaminants associated with CLP Certification.

The scope of testing for CLP Certification depends on the product type that is being submitted for CLP Certification – to learn more, please reach out to the Clean Label Project.
