Improving infant, children and maternal health through education on the risks of toxins and contaminants and advocating for reform.
The Clean Label Project Baby Coalition educates consumers, retailers, brands, and the medical community on the risks of environmental contaminants to infants, children, and mothers. As a trade association, we advocate for progressive policies, raise awareness about harmful chemicals, and work across the supply chain to improve products for vulnerable populations.
The Congressional investigation into baby food, the infant formula crisis, and the resulting consumer advocacy and regulatory attention have contributed to significant consumer concern from parents and caregivers about what they feed the most vulnerable among us. The Clean Label Project is committed to provide industry with a path forward to mitigate the contamination problem and parents and caregivers practical solutions they can trust.
We believe that the food and consumer product brands can and should always aspire to do better. Compliance with federal law are table stakes.
We believe that we don’t have to wait for an act of Congress to proactively make changes that are better for the planet and public health.
We believe that brands should know what’s in their products, both the good and the bad.
We believe in data and science. It begins with testing.
We believe that consumers deserve to make more informed purchasing decisions when it comes to buying what’s best for themselves and their families.
Where laws exist to protect public health, we comply.
The first 1000 Days of life are critically important to life-long health and wellness. We treat it as such.
